If you have crashing issues, please read the Steam thread here. This is using the DSA PS Style controller configuration. These are Control settings I have set In-Game. However, you may have to adjust your sensitivity on it once you import. You can also choose Original Xbox Controls, which is another popular option. I have created DSA PS Style controls to match more closely to what the PS2 controls were. Go to Community -> Then choose a Layout from there. Hit X, or Click on Browse Configs on the bottom. Then go Manage Game -> Controller Configuration. Navigate to the game you want to play, in this case Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Classic

To open Big Picture mode, click this icon in the top right on of the Steam App. To configure a controller in Steam, you need to be in Big Picture Mode (Unless they have changed it after writing this). If using Steam, You can play using a Xbox 360 wired USB controller, Xbox One controller via USB Adapter, or Xbox One S via Bluetooth.
